Unity for Change is a UK-based social enterprise that creates paid employment opportunities for young people while delivering humanitarian support to crisis-affected communities in the developing world.
Our vision is a future where work doesn’t just pay bills, but builds confidence, opportunity, and meaningful impact at the same time.
Unity for Change was created because too many modern jobs create little real value — and sometimes even cause harm. Many people work in roles that don’t align with their values simply because they feel there are no better options.
We believe change doesn’t belong only to politicians or billionaires. If thousands of young people work every day to create social benefit, real change happens.
We exist to tackle three problems at once:
Humanitarian crises in vulnerable communities
Youth unemployment in the UK
Declining mental health caused by meaningless or exploitative work
By turning work into a force for good, we empower young people to earn with purpose while supporting those who need it most.
At Unity for Change, we believe money is not the goal — it’s a tool.
A tool to create food, clean water, shelter, education, and stability.
Too often, profit is chased even when it causes harm. We don’t blame individuals trapped in broken systems — we challenge the systems themselves.
Unity for Change offers a different option: paid work that creates social benefit, not social cost.
We’re building a generation that sees earning as contributing, not taking — proving that profit and purpose belong together.
We carry out campaigns in busy public spaces and door-to-door across the UK. Our teams engage people in honest conversations about humanitarian causes and invite them to support meaningful work.
